Heavy Duty Chiminea and Planter Stand Bundle - 5 Stands, 10 Inch Height
This listing is for a bundle of all five of our 10 inch high stands (8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 inch diameters)
Our Heavy Duty Chiminea and Planter Stands are built from sturdy bar steel to support even the heaviest chimineas and planters with ease. The listed diameter of these stands is the maximum diameter as measured from the inside.
Important note about the diameters: As all our items are made by hand, the actual diameters of the rings will be anywhere from the listed diameters to 1/4 inch smaller than the listed diameters. They should not exceed the listed diameters.
Whenever possible, measure the inside diameter of the ring from the original stand and order a stand which has a diameter within 1/4 inch of the original. If that is not possible, there are two recommended methods for making sure you get a stand that fits your chiminea.
Make sure the planter or chiminea is sitting on the ground
Take a piece of string and wrap it around the planter or chiminea at the point on the item where you would like the stand to meet the item
Measure the height from the string to the ground
Mark the string where the two ends of the string meet
Lay the string out in a straight line and measure from the end of the string to the mark
Contact us with these two measurements and we will let you know what your best options are
Take the listed diameter of the stand that is closest to the size you think you need and multiply by 3.14
Measure out a length of string equal to that number and mark the string at that length
Place a second mark on the string at one inch shorter than the first mark
Wrap the string around the planter or chiminea at the point on the item where the end of the string meets the first (longer) mark - this is where the item will touch the stand if the stand's actual diameter is equal to the listed diameter
Move the string down the planter or chiminea until the end of the string meets the second (shorter) mark - this is where the item will touch the stand if the stand's actual diameter is 1/4 inch less than the listed diameter
If the item would sit too high in the stand in this range, repeat steps 1-5 with the next larger diameter stand
If your item would sit too low in the stand, repeat steps 1-5 with the next smaller diameter stand
